How do I get my baby to sleep through the night? That’s the million pound question on the lips of parents everywhere? We buy parenting help books by the thousands desperately trying to find that golden piece of advice to give ourselves a magical 8 hrs of sleep. Gina Ford? Cry it Out? No Cry Sleep Solution? Even celebs like Holly Willoughby are getting in on the action with their own baby help books.
While we don’t have the magic answers, Anna and I have had 5 babies between us and have tried many different methods to get our kids to sleep. There is one thing that is for sure, every child is different and what worked for one may not work for another. What we have found though is that there are a number of things that can help get the ball rolling with all of our kids and there are also a number of things that will screw up a really good sleep routine too, some of these things are out of our control but some of them really are down to us. This is what we are discussing in this latest video. We talk about the things that worked for us, like routine, bath time and choosing the right nappy.
