Last week Channel Mum asked me if I would like to try out the new Roarin’ Rainforest Jumperoo from Fisher Price before it’s launch in January along with some of the other lovely Channel Mum Vloggers . Of course I jumped at the chance, I’ve seen these before and thought they looked great fun.
The fact that it is Fisher Price gave it a headstart from the outset for me as it’s a brand that I trust and I’ve know since I was a kid too. It was actually quite easy to assemble, I got my husband to help, simply because many hands make light work, and we had to take it in turns to stop Ivy climbing over everything! The seat part is machine washable which is fantastic as lets face it babies are kind of gross.
Ivy is now 8 months old and is on the move all.of.the.time!!!! Without eyes in the back of my head it’s sometime impossible to get anything done so something like this really can be a godsend. I of course don’t suggest that you leave babies in them for long periods of time but even if it’s just to get the washing in or go to the loo then it’s a winner with me. It’s not just about getting things done of course, it’s also great for their development. Eye catching colours, interactive sounds, movement and bounce means there is a lot going on for your baby that they can learn from. Ivy seemed to really enjoy herself and her little face was a picture once she realised she could great some great momentum going!
It is quite big but this newer model does fold which means you can lean it up against a wall etc but it is still going to take up space. You must also consider the price as it’s £119. You could perhaps ask family or friends to go in on something like this though as a baby present.
We would love to know what you think of this, is it something that you would like to try with your babies? Do you have the older version, what did you think? We hope we have given an honest fair review of this item in our video so why not check it out and leave a comment either here or under the video on YouTube. Make sure to subscribe to Channel Mum too as it is in fact our second home, you can find hundreds of videos there too from lots of other fantastic parents!
